Doug, you better have saved your ace on #7 in round #1.

Well, you probably get more than me, but they're always fun to replay.

Man, I could not get anything close in Round #3. Was putting or chipping from distance most of the round.

I was cruising along great (for me) in Round #4. On #18 I got behind two of those overgrown/unrealistic palm trees.

Those trees are not designed to be that big in the APCD. They have to be artificially blown up. It's a shame. There are certainly none like that on the real course as I watch the IRL Sony Open. 12 of 14 FIR and 16 of 18 GIR.

There are some tree placements that I don't think are in the correct places on this course. 2nd rd I hit a 3W off the tee aiming for the right side of the fairway and hit a tree that bounced back right so that I was farther to the hole from off the tee in the rough.

Next two rounds have my worst putting conditions so if I can manage a few under par I will be happy on this course. Flat lies in the fairway if you can hit them. I hate gusty but we all have to play it. In these conditions if you happen to hit just short and then onto the green my shots always end up running all the way back off the green. Going to happen out of the rough anyways. Got to make sure I got my chipping down just to make par.

Yeah, 18 tee ball you have to be good off the tee to go for it in two. Drove it through the fairway in rd 2 and had to lay up.

maybe not bulldozer worthy but maybe wise to put a machete in the bag to do some selective tree-pruning ,,,

I assume thats to the right of the fairway off the T. Managed to get behind one of them in both the last 2 rounds. It was more like being behind a wall. Only shot was sideways and a bit back to leave 270+ into the wind.

Wasn't too happy on 17 either in round 3 pro where I thought id hit the perfect shot only for it hit branches near the green and finish 20 or so short
Bad thing about this course for me is I can't use the green analyser. Did it early in pro round 1 and got "links has topped working bla bla" I'd forgotten. It's very hard not to look at the GA for me but i got through it in pro when I went back.
Only forgot once on champ and got the same message but luckily this time it allowed mt to rehit.

Third rd C/C gusty my T shot went long right with a sudden gust and behind that big palm on 18 also. Took a chance and punched a 3 iron just left of the tree and another smaller one. Hit a good one and had a 9 iron for the bird. Got lucky for a chance.
