PLSA Ryder Cup... sort of

Rather than try to do "countries" I've gone down through the FedEx Cup final standings, alternating, for teams. I do this because I only know the country of a few of the players.

Whether you want to take it seriously or not is up to you. The winning team will be the average of the total score for that team. This way those who don't play, or those who are eliminated because they don't finish, will not affect their team because we're using the average.

I really hope both Harpo, DirkPitt and everyone else will be able to compete on their best computer.

I hope all will play... and I think from what I see below, it could be really close. If I see a player playing that is not in the teams below, he'll go on A... next one B... next one A... and so on.

Team A Team B

RoyHiggi MasterMontgomery
GoesForIt DirkPitt
RonnieSmith albatros
archytas Harpo
DougMM btasmlinks
Steve Sullivan rwoodworkr
AMTGOLFER Kaden
bobward Jackrich

It's up to Harpo if he wants to do it with Pro.

It almost looks like 1 and 2 are paired, then 3 and 4, and then so forth. Is that what you are seeing Echoes? Maybe I'm not reading it right. Or is the left side one team (A) and the second player side is team (B)?

I think this is what Doug is intending.

The forum doen't do tabs very well. All names on the left are Team A. All names on the right are Team B. RoyHiggi finished #1 in the FedEx. MasterMontgomery finished #2 in the FedEx, RoyHiggi is on Team A and MasterMontgomery is on Team B... and so on down the line. I beat DirkPitt (only for technical reasons) so, Team A and Team B respectively.

I put in every player who earned FedEx Points. I think I know MasterMontgomery and DougMM is the same person. I won't allow him to play twice and count the scores for both if that's the case. Again, it will be to sum of the team's score added up and divided by the number of players (an average). So, if the teams are uneven it will not make much difference.

Team A--------------Team B

RoyHiggi-------------MasterMontgomery
GoesForIt-----------DirkPitt
RonnieSmith--------albatros
archytas-------------Harpo
DougMM-------------btasmlinks
Steve Sullivan------rwoodworkr
AMTGOLFER--------Kaden
bobward-------------Jackrich

It sounds interesting and creative, but I may be traveling the week of the Ryder Cup. Any chance we could be given two weeks to finish?

Don't know if you are going to try to do something, but my travel doesn't start until Sunday so I should be able to play my four rounds before I leave.
