I know you have thought of this Mark, but I have never really heard the official reason. The question is, why can't you tap in to the launcher that is built into the game (a la Zone)? I'm sure there is some tech or legal reason, but I would love to see a brief explanation.

The game Mark. Three of us were just not able to hook up this morning to play tournament rounds created at LSN.

The game Mark. Three of us were just not able to hook up this morning to play tournament rounds created at LSN.

The server that handles the in-game MatchMaker is run by Microsoft. That server was supposed to be shutdown over a year ago. I'm actually surprised it's been running this long. So there are two possibilities.

1. Microsoft shut it down
2. It's only a temporarly thing.

Either way I can't do anything about it.

I've thought about doing that. Official reason? Time. The other launcher was a much quicker solution and it was web based which is the way I wanted to go.

I may try and figure out how the in-game MatchMaker works and adapt it.
