Roy - Perfect 4 rounds - almost

Postby Harpo on Thu Jun 22, 2023 8:31 am

Roy, that lone par on the first hole is the only score not in red in all 4 rounds. I don't believe that I have ever seen an all red (4 rounds) on here. I just notice everyone's card as to look for aces. Maybe there have been some but I have never seen one. At least not in pro and above. Nice shooting ...

thanks. I didnt know I hadnt had other pars but i was certainly annoyed at messing up hole one. Crazy approach shot snap with a wedge flew away into deep rough.

Raced through the event as I dont have much playing time this week. Might do the same tomorrow with the champ one.

Nice shooting Roy!
I never noticed how whack the stats are until i looked at your putting stats for the whole tourney.
It shows 73 putts total, but only 69 1 putts and 2 2 putts leaving 2 missing :? It appears that par on 1 was your only missed green so it wasn't from putting from off the green
Gets weirder when looking at putts taken/made 48 of 48 0-10 ft, 13 of 15 11-20, 1of 1 over 30 totaling 64
Guess math isn't the site's strong suit.

Does it count as a putt if it's a gimmee?

O.K. My attempted solution to the "weirdness"

73 putts is fine..... 69 x 1 putt = 69 putts. 2 x 2 putts = 4 putts. Total putts = 73

As Roy points out, there must have been 7 "gimmees" not counted as
"distance" putts.

48 taken @ 0' - 10' + 17 taken @ 11' - 20' (13 x 1 putt, 2 x 2 putt) + 1 taken @ over 30' makes 66 + 7 "gimmees" = 73.

Weirdness solved......??? 8)
