All those long holes can wear one down. At least for me. The long shots into the greens were key. I would aim 8 to 10 feet out on some holes and just kept hitting the 6 o'clock on the side I aimed by just a tad and ended up 18 to 25 ft away from the pin. And then if the wind changed just before you swing! A tough but fair contest.

Super stuff Dirk, I had a feeling my last round would cost me , just couldnt get shots close enough.
As per Harpo sort of glad to get the event over with , all those long approaches are tough and tiring

I know what you mean, the par saves are tough but crucial. I just couldnt hole some reasonable chances for birdies or even the odd very short one but somehow made a couple I didnt think i had a chance on. Silly game

so not sure how this works (not that it much matter to me) but I see i finished 3rd in Challenge @ US Open with -42 but don't see my name on list anywhere. is this something you need to sign up for to become eligible. Again don't really matter as I'll never be as good as most on here but have fun looking at how I rate against all these great players is all.

Never mind, I just noticed it says Champ as i only first noticed Challenge which i play but in Pro Mode. Golf on all and have fun!
