Can't believe how flat these greens are. 3 guys shot 49 (-23) with DirkPitt still to play and maybe someone else from these middle tees. Made one bad swing on the wrong hole in round 2 that cost me a bogie. I can see at least 2 or 3 guys shooting 49 or 50 from the back tees in round 2. Even with the last 2 rounds breezy with those greens the winning score is going to be real low. Maybe a matter of who gets the most missed straight putt go in because Pro will do that at times. I don't see Roy making a par in all 4 rounds.

Thanks, as you said it's an easy course on the greens if you get on them ok. I actually struggled with the snap on approaches and had a few longer putts as a result on the par 5's plus a chip in to help. Getting an ace on the 2nd was the big slice of luck as I missed the snap on that one too

Ouch, made a stupid error on the par 5 11th for my 3rd rd. Just had a little more than a tap in for eagle and hurried it and came up less than an inch short. Aaaarg. That was mostly because I had a par on the par 4 10th. That is the second time on that hole my shot came up short. Mental note... take a little more club in rd 4. Was so mad I just quickly took that putt on 11. Had to pay more attention the rest of the way in.

Hole 10 did me as well but i didn't make the green with my approach. Thought i had but it landed a few feet short and bounced back quite a way. My other mess was hole 2 getting back at me  Bad snap and a long putt snap missed meant no chance.

Yes, that is just what my approach did on 10. Thought I made the right chip but was a tad too hard and bounced away a foot. Had to make 2, 20+ footers for birdie on 2 and a eagle on 4. Straight one though so was happy for those.

Currently on Eurostar from London to Paris. Not sure if I will be able to play this week. Looking at scores I wish I could, look like fun. If I can't get good WiFi in Paris will catch up with all of you when I get back home.
