Based on average points accumulated I've paired bottom to top as seeds for a team event. The FedEx cup points will not be affected I just thought it would be fun to pair players up. I'll add the total scores of these players together and we'll see how it turns out. I guess I'll only do it where both players play. FedEx points will still be regular stroke play.

Well, you could always calculate a Best Ball competition---Roy vs. the field.

I can't play until my (golf) computer comes back from the "GEEK SQUAD". Did something stupid. Thank goodness it's dedicated to Links.

Will not be playing in Pro again this week. The green color is just not to my liking. Will most likely do Elite again and maybe try C/C just using the green analyzer to support my partner if he shows up. I think he has only played one tourney so far? Will wait for his start for me to decide.

I'm up for it Doug, if you're able to play. Let me know when you can start.

They work fast. It's ready for pickup. I'll have it back tomorrow. I don't think we can play together, but our scores will be added together.

As an experiment (amazing what you can do with copy/paste and Excel spreadsheets), in just a few minutes (< 10) of effort I did calculate the best ball score for the 2nd through 4th place finishers at Harbour Town. I believe there were 4 eagles (3 on par 5's plus a hole in one on 14!) against 2 pars for a nice tidy -74.

Well the run of 3 birdies and the attached eagle from the deep on 16 certainly padded the score  despite only hitting 6 fairways. Some misses were because of nasty bounces on the fairways

My apologies, Doug. This is just not the course for me. Way too much trouble off the fairway, where I spend the majority of my time. Slight improvement in round 2. I'll try to keep it going for the next two. Thanks for putting up with me. And great 1st round. Way to carry me. :D

Rick, let you down in Round #3. Wasn't in the deep stuff often but 3 fairway bunkers and approaches that were far from the hole on neon greens... and as you know I cannot putt anyway.

Oh C-r-a-p! What if Jackrich doesn't play and RoyHiggi still beats us all? Oh! For shame.
