"Modified Launch Conditions"
Posted: Wed Mar 15, 2023 4:22 pmWith the recent musings from the USGA & others about taking the "elite" game down a notch or two in the distance department, I have two questions - not about that topic, but inspired by it.
#1 - Playing Robert Trent Jones' Judge Course (#1142) recently, I packed a lunch while contemplating the 10th - 711y from the back tees (Par 5 in case you were wondering). Off the top, can anyone think of any other Par 5's in the 700's - either MSoft or an APCD creation?
#2 - Similarly, I had a look at Pete Gemmill's version of Royal Melbourne #2100, which checked in at 7804y from the back tees. Compare that with 6936y for MSoft's #1149. So same kind of question - anyone know of courses out there in that 7500+ range?
