Need some help

Postby GoesForIt on Thu Feb 02, 2023 10:11 am

I had to reinstall Links 2003 I got it from Links2K3_Down.exe (304.57 MB) on Links Country Club. It says it's 1.07.

I've set it up as always, but I continually get...

1) Some "rendering" message that makes me click to clear
2) Cannot select putter from off the green.

Is there some other update I should be applying to 1.07?

OKay

1) In Game Setting make sure you click SHOW NONE to rendering messages
2) When you set up a player, be sure to click "Default club" before you make any changes.

I never use color coded grid. Just didn't like how it looks. To each their own. I think Roy mentioned that he doesn't use the short swing meter. That is the only meter I use for the champ challenge mode.

I never use "Postshot auto Enabled". Personal preference.

Did I? I am feeling a bit thick but what's the short swing meter? Is that the red one for putting?

Yes Roy that is the one I was talking about. I thought I remember you saying that you did not use it but I guess I am wrong?

I only ever use it for Challenging mode and for the faster greens. Slower or medium slow I use the green one almost all the time.

Think I should use the red one more on non challenging as I have missed a load of putts recently from short distance.
