Funeral for a friend

Postby Echoes on Thu Jan 19, 2023 8:14 pm

We have gathered here to mourn the loss of our beloved LSPN flight tournament, who evidently passed the early morning hours of 12/29/22.

Preliminary autopsy reports indicate a autopilot trigger failure, and a lack of interest by site ownership as the cause of death.

LSPN flight tournament... who was approximately 22 years of age will be missed by approximately 22 regular members.

Services will not be held.

For me it was by far the most relevant and enjoyable part of embracing the LSPN tribe, back in the dark days of the Paindemic. I appreciate that many of you have been around far longer than that.

Yeah, the Sounds of FLHT Silence are somewhat overwhelming and ominous. If its demise did have anything to do with the Par 3 Festival played after Christmas, that's a shame. I quite enjoyed those Par 3's. I'm not enjoying my newly minted +20 Group C handicap rating. I'm not even beginning to think anything will ever get done about that part.

Time it was, and what a time it was/A time of innocence/A time of confidences. All Things Must Pass, I guess.
