Man, I could do NOTHING right in Round #1. Behind the 8 ball for sure now.

Round #2 went a lot better, but Round #1 went put me way behind.

I did had a really nice kick in for Eagle on #5. Worth watching. Got a couple of other good kicks as well.

Don't know if it is this course. I doubt it but I had 1 buried lie in the rough in the first round and 3 in the second. Snap was a little shaky this second round but my scrambling was good. Nice second rd Doug...

Just FYI, I'll be looking for a new course for the Shriner's next season. Too much tricky FICTIONAL "stuff" going on with this one. Or, maybe I didn't do a good job on pin placement. I'll take a look at both.

The course I'm seeing on TV is in Las Vegas, but does not appear to be much like The Horizon's Club.

Not unhappy with my final round. Unhappy with the pin positions... but that's why I put Soft with Fast and Moderate/Medium on the final round. Again, I will not use this course next year.

There are some great FICTIONAL course designers out there. But there are some that IMO feel the need to trick a course up. This course is somewhere in between. It's okay to have rolling greens, but the pin positions can be placed at a point by the designer where they're just unfair.

I was lucky enough to make every par save putt I was faced with today.

Yea, that third round with soft/fast greens I had to rethink my approach shots after the first 3 holes. All of those I hit well beyond the hole only to [censored] back and then roll off the green. The pro's can take some of the spin off by adjusting their swing. A little harder to do on Links even though I have hit 3/4 or 1/2 clubs into a green that I remember sucks the ball way back off the green. That is in pro and much more forgiving if you miss the snap a little. I have not done it yet in champ/challenge unless close to the green. I just have to play a little smarter in champ. I didn't on hole 16 the last two rds as my T shot went into the desert both times and got lucky to somehow get it to the green and 2 putt for par.

RoyHiggi

For PLSA Champ, I just decided I'd try to emulate the FedEx Cup. I posted earlier the points. All have points, some more than others.

Harpo (Jim) is doing it for Pro but I didn't understand his last post regarding points. It's up to him on implementation.

All I meant was that if points were shared and they ended in, let say 208.3 as the three that came in second, when they were totaled in the final total, the points were rounded up or down and dropped the decimals.

As in DirkPitt"s total score: 400 + 500 + 208.3 = 1108 and not 1108.3.

I hope that explains it and just keeps the points looking better in the final format.

Roy the PLSA event is the only one that is getting FedEx points.

Gotcha. I've not had any ties yet. I'll try to find out how the PGA does it. I've never seen "tenths" on FedEx points
. I know with prize money if two tie for say 2nd place, they add 2nd and 3rd money and divide it. If they do the same for FedEx points, I'll still round to integers and not use tenths.

I'm doing Champ/Challenging. Jim, which for you again?

When I announced and said was doing PLSA C/C, I invited others across the PLSA world to do their favored conditions. Only Jim stepped forward.
