i must say your feelings are shared by me at times. In the past
i have been critical of the wind, but that seems quite fair now.
The issue i have is with the pin placements. Too many at the back or the
front or the sides. And yes to me the harder it gets the less fun i have.
This week the plsa first round has some pins that are really tough. But.
i did manage a nice ammy round after requalifing. so, yes i think the person
(Doug Hurst)? who does the plsa setup does try to make it difficult. That is
how i think he sees it in real life.
Having said all that, i must say im sure lots of time an work goes into the
setup. Also there are players who really like the hard conditions. One of the
better players that i know prefers windy.
I do not know the answer to how to enjoy it or have more fun when it is
very difficult. Maybe are age has something to do with it.
Anyway you raise a very good question.
good playing an try to have fun.
