Wow! I was feeling pretty good about -9 with 18 GIR and then WHATCHA?

Nice round Steve.

Well, you used it again obviously. I shoot another -9 (and I will say I left shots out there), and you up your lead.

I would be well satisfied with a -36 if I can achieve it even if you do beat my brains out.

It does get more difficult as the speeds increase. I've actually been working on a technique to improve my tempo and straightness off the tee. If I concentrate I can achieve it, but as with the 3 holes after the turn in round 2, not always :(

First bogey of the tournament on #3... dumb bogey, then a huge number of slide bys on the remainder of the front nine for -3 out.

Luck took over on the back with chip-ins for a birdie and an eagle for -7 coming home.

M(C)/F(C) in Round #4 should prove interesting.

Same for me in round 3, with my first bogie and putts missing by inches
Didn't score as well as you, but managed to sneak a on shot lead

Probably doesn't help that I've been around at my dad's on and off today, keeping him company with the help of my wife in his final days

I'm sure it doesn't. I'm close to my brother and his daughters. He lost his oldest (47) to complications of throat cancer last month. It was a long battle with a roller coaster of emotions tons of phone calls back and forth.

I was in the process of making a fake well to cover my well-water pump. So, it's become a memorial.

The name and date will obviously go on after he passes, and will have some of his ashes in the ink

Well Steve, I gave you a target at least. Again, the back #9 was very, very good to me. Another chip-in for eagle.

I said I'd be happy with -36. -39 even better.
