PLSA RBC Canadian Open - Alberta?

Postby BitLeft on Thu Jun 09, 2022 10:57 am

Any particular reason why the LSPN PLSA version of the Canadian Open couldn't have been played using the Vanni/Braden St. George Golf and Country Club course #2668? Released on 21-07-18, it was all set to go. Seems a shame not to take advantage of playing the course actually being used this week. :?

Not that Banff doesn't have its place and everything. I know, Albertans will always say The West Is Best.

Sorry, I wasn't aware. I put the race together a good bit ago. I'll try to do better.

So I show and amazing (for me) -13 in round #1 and see my buddy Steve shoots -15. Conditions were easy but great shooting Steve. Good to see a lot of participants in Champ too.

Too many bogies and doubles in rounds 3 & 4 meant I couldn't leave a good enough target.

I finally had a bogey in Round #3 and was lucky to get it. On #15 with the elevated tee and trees on the left, I managed the trees. I thought I'd found an opening for my second, but hit another trunk. Got to the fairway and then up and down from about 134 yds.

We'll see how M(C)/F(C) goes in Round #4.

Well, I have gone all through St. George (2668) and set it up for any future tournament that may be played there. I know the RBC moves around so we'll see.
