I was in attendance Thursday and Friday at the Players Championship. Got a bit soggy
, but of the approximately 13 hours of live play that occurred, I was there for all but an hour or so of it. I didn't spend a great deal of time studying all the holes, but did eventually get around to the whole course. The person who did the Links design did a great job on the course layout. There are certainly places IRL where there are more trees than in the Links version, but overall, it's extremely authentic I think. Some green contours may have been tweaked over the years but there's not much you can do about that.I realize there needs to be a new rough texture for Links---"trampled rough".
