Man, 2 stupid doubles sunk me in round #2... one putter related and one palm tree related.

Anyone else seeing funny screens on "COMMUNITY"?

Rounds 2 and 3 were not kind to me. A lot of those pot palms, which are supposed to be maybe 3-4 ft high have been blown up by the APCD author to be 20 feet high and thick. I have no problem with that... it's his choice. I just hated hitting so many of them.

I did have one highlight. I hit a fairway bunker with a lip so steep I had to just 8-iron out into the fairway... then holed the approach for a birdie.

Looks like Round #3 threw everyone for a loop. It had to be the Gusty wind. I didn't think the pin positions were bad at all?

Did for me I am sure. Mostly about a poor snap but thats no doubt through rushing before the wind changed.

One issue though was the par 3 17th. Hit what I felt sure was a very good shot and would have been a tap in birdie. The pin was fairly central in the green and wide open to attack but somehow I hit a tree. It was right at the end of the flight and the ball just dropped onto the green 50 odd feet away. I assume there must have been a branch overhanging the green or something. Never seen anything quite like it before.
