New Harbour Town Course

Ok, got to vent a little. Hole #8, aim down the right side of fairway as I sometimes snap early. Hit a perfect snap and bang, hit the stupid tree branch and goes right under the trees. There are some holes on some courses that I move the ball on the tee to avoid trees but not ever before on this hole. I have never played on a real golf course where you had to avoid a tree so close to the tee box that you couldn't hit a normal shot.

Ok, done ... cost me two stokes for getting a bogie but moving on.

As my boss used to say (before I retired and he got fired) "I hear ya". And have likewise experienced things to be miffed about.

I just say to myself "That's Links for you" and press on. Harb and I go back a long way - one of the first courses I cut my teeth on way back when. A sentimental fav - always.
