Royal St George's Update

Postby Adelade on Tue Jul 13, 2021 4:01 am

I made an update of John Brooks' Royal St George's 2021 Beta version in the past few days, it is still a Beta but I feel confident that it will be a lot more playable than the previous 2021 Beta. I know it may be too late now to get it into LSPN's system in time, and maybe Open tournaments have already begun anyway I dont know, but either way I wanted to let it be know that it is available now at [Edit - new link to v0.91 instead of 0.90] [Edit 2 - new link to both 0.91 + Readme] https://www.dropbox.com/sh/clhnf4r6uhuq ... wp__a?dl=0

Why so late? Long ago I already decided against working on this course so I had never planned on it, but I changed my mind to do a spontaneous and very quick update a few days ago, which turned into a decently moderate update. You can read more about how it came to be and what was updated in this thread at Links Corner: https://linkscorner.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1213

It has not yet been uploaded to LC, but it will probably be on the official course list later today.

Edit: Found that one of the old aiming markers were in the middle of a fairway landing area and had collision settings, removed it with v0.91. Updated link to point to v0.91

Course available on Links Corner course list https://linkscorner.org/courses/course.php?crz=2666 (exactly same files as link I provided above (though make sure you have version 0.91 instead of the earlier 0.90))

Based on the listed course name for that tournament, I believe that one is using the last version before I started making my updates, which is this one from back in March https://linkscorner.org/courses/course.php?crz=2641
