I don't like to use Microsoft courses as a general rule, but Barton Creek mimics the TPC San Antonio pretty much.

If someone knows of a course that is better I'm open to suggestion for next year.

I have used TPC at The Woodlands 2005 for my Texas Handicap event :)

For some reason I had it in my head that TPC at the Woodlands was hosting a tournament on the 2021 schedule. A search revealed that it's not and it is therefore a course I will investigate for next year for the Valero.

Again, thanks Steve.

Well, if there's not another Pro Tour even using TPC at the Woodlands next season, I'll be using it for the Valero Texas Open. I've already gone through and worked up the pin positions.

I absolutely will not miss the 18th at Barton Creek. That hole is not a fair test... 3, 4, 8, 6 this week. I guess I should say it's not fair with M(C)/F(C).

Anyway, I have to reach 74 this summer so I can play this tourney at TPC at the Woodlands next season.

Barton Creek is definitely hard work at M(C)/F(C)
