Links Sports.NET

With all the bad stuff that's going on it is still so annoying when you are on a super round and the black screen comes on to tell you Links has stopped working. Just had to go for a gentle scream ( not done it for a while)


C'est la vie.

Thought I would still finish but my mind just wasn't there so after 3 pars in a row decided it wasn't worth it.

Instead it's off to Innisbrook for an elite challenging round in f/f conditions

So I thought I would play the pro challenging event at Latrobe for a change. Decent first round ,ok 2nd but going great in the third and just had an ace and an eagle on the back 9 when....................... Yep the same crash telling me Links had stopped working with just a few to play. This could get really annoying

I must be virus affected. Can’t even get onto my pc at the mo so no chance of playing. Posting via I pad

Just ordered windows 10 so will see if it's a win7 problem.

I am trying to avoid that as long as I can.

Dloaded a new virus thingy earlier and touch wood got through a few rounds without a problem. ( apart from a few bad shots of course)

Not sure I've ever played Latrobe before but got to #9 on round 1 and Links just disappeared! Suspect a problem with the course as I've not had a problem like this before.

Maybe just coincidence but really weird anyway.

When I went back to it I played the final rounds there in 2 events without another problem!

We did download something and "used" it ( might have been that) but somehow the next day it had disappeared from the pc!!

Had another today but as it's a first round it doesnt bother as much. Got lucky a few days agon when I clicked to go to the T it crashed but i didn't lose anything and went on to play ok.

Just had some good fortune to balance things. Shadowlands 13th , pulled the T shot into the water and.... Got to the ball which was sat in the stream but deemed playable Under the bridge and looking like the next shot would hit wood but it came out ( just) and a flukey bird followed.

It does sound like he is on the mend but I refuse to count any chickens as I have heard of others who start to get better then take a bad turn. Fingers crossed.

He is a very interesting character and lovable in a sort of way
