How do you hit the tee shot ???

On hole 14 at Prairie Dunes. I have not a clue. Seem to be able to hit
the tree with no problem. Help. :?:

I think I aim clear right of the branches with a driver and a draw set to 8. Guesswork in the first place :lol:

Move ball to right side of tee, aim just to right of tree trunk, punch driver 90% power and swing away, Works for me. Too much power can end up over fairway in rough - still easy second shot.

I have never tried a punched driver but my guess is that if you miss the snap you might end up in real trouble. Probably OK in ammy but not p/c/e unless you certain of hitting the snap

Am only pro player but thought i would try it in elite. Aimed at sand traps - hit driver with draw. Ended up two feet in rough - 3 wood to right of pin 13 feet. Easy 13 ft putt for eagle. Wow!!. I know - beginners luck - right?

( I am guessing that wasn't challenging conditions as second shots like that from rough are as rare as hen's teeth!)

Was that first attempt as I wonder where it went if you miss the snap either side? I always need a "safe" bail out side for a miss snap.

Was only attempt. Quit while I was ahead. Just set to elite - not sure how to set to challenging - don't think I want to. Elite is challenging enough. Hit snap just about perfect - early would have been in sand - late in worse rough. I admire you guys who play in elite - or challenging. My mouse would not survive....

just went to 14 at prairie dunes and used 3w flop and then 3w straight .... able to clear tree and land in fairway ;}~
