Posted: Fri Dec 06, 2019 4:13 amWhen I first started playing this game Firestone was always the ultimate test. The challenge to get to 10 under was so difficult with the back to front greens meaning any miss snap will leave a really nasty sidehill putt.
Whilst I have got past the 10 under mark the challenge is still the same
Just had a round there where I reckon 14 out of 18 approach shot I miss snapped. You get away with some still going where you aimed it but the others still leave the nasty putts and some seem almost unholeable.
How to get remotely close on the par 3 5th is beyond me
Getting close on the 3rd in round 4 is seriously tough and a miss snap means effectively no birdie.
Came off after round 4 feeling a bit battered. I doubt I am alone
Any other courses similar?
