As i stood on the 17th hole's tee box in round 1 and saw that large alligator i thought to myself ' i was munching on your cousin last week ' at Roux 61 in Natchez, Ms..
Fried gator bites with a house Roux sauce, and shrimp and alligator cheesecake were 2 of our 3 appetizers, with the 3rd being a portobello mushroom filled with crabmeat stuffing, topped with a crawfish cream sauce. 8)

I then Aced the hole :D

Alligator's do make some good eating! Love me some gator bites...

I had a tough time on hole 9 of Round 1. Hit my first tee shot in the water and decided to Tin Cup it and hit again. Second shot was short and left of the green and ended up buried in deep rough (couldn't see hide nor hair of the ball) near one of the timbers that line the lower left side of the green. I tried a couple chips and even resorted to trying to Lob it out, but it wouldn't move. I finally realized I could take a drop (it's been years since I've played this game regularly) and ended up with a whopping 14 on this Par 3 hole. Persistence definitely did NOT pay off in this circumstance...
