Very sad news indeed. I know Bruce was suffering from Agent Orange issue and has been pretty sick for a while. He was always my Links baseline. If I could stay close to Bruce I was having a good event. Reset in Peace my friend.

Thanks David for the heads up on this.

Hello,

This is Grandpa Bruce's son - I was just trying to post on here to tell of his passing, but I see that you already know. He LOVED his Links and will miss playing, though he is playing one of the nicest course we will ever know right now. God bless all of you, and please say a prayer for our family.

Oh, and "/NFS" - he got a kick out of that .wav file :-)

Thank you!

Very bad new for sure -- Bruce played here at LSPN a long time and I'm going to miss his wit and some of his good posts.

RIP Bruce and my Condolences to his family.

I met Bruce in "Greenkeeps"... a yahoo group links chatroom 18-19 years ago. Roy, Blade and Master Montgomery are a few more members of that chatroom who still play here. For several years me and Bruce would play 4-5 holes every day until his wife Cheryl would call him for dinner. Even back then he was starting to experience service related problems. Bruce was a great guy and had uncanny links skills in his day. His kid was right about that NFS wav. I've heard it well over a thousand times from Bruce, but we never would finish those rounds. Bruce would say he couldn't finish after dinner because that's when he had to play with his "pard" Pete.
Bruce used to like to shoot a how low can you go tourney @ westfields from the ladies tees, with 10 mulligans so i will set one up to run 2 weeks in his honor. Rest in Peace Bruce and know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
