Though you already got your answer in PM, for those who don't want to wait for their own PM, for all intents and purposes in this thread:

"Charles" = Image.

Apologies to Bruce if this is out of line, if so, please edit/delete and I'll rephrase to a more suitable reply.

Ok....back to the TW golf subject.

Crissy. I have 2003, 2004 & 2006. When I do play TW, I find that my favourite version is 2004. I have never really liked 2006 much....Is 2007 a big improvement? Worth buying?

Is the course architect better? That's always been a weak point imho....

thanks, G

I was liking 2007, aside from my putting, chipping, approaches, etc.......
Only thing that kept me from triple digits at expert 3 click was that they screwed up and sidehill lies had no effect. Now that it's been addressed in the patch, I can sure see my scores going a lot further south than they are already, lol. thx Crissy!

Grant - I kinda liked 2004 better too. Don't play anywhere near as much as I play links so it might just be that lack of practice is hurting. I'm enjoying 2007, but am not consistent enough to offer a valid opinion. Didn't help that my g/f's kids (AKA Minions of [censored]) trashed my 2006 disc and I only got to play it for a couple of months.

Grant, I picked up 2007 for $19 for my granddaughter but she still plays the 2004 ver. I still have loaded. Not much difference as I can see. The courses still look the same to me and not as good as the new APCD's we're seeing for sure.

Since we are talking TGW here and being a newbee, can I get some help on a few things? I was at Walmart the other day and seen TGW07 for $19.00. Got it, installed and having fun. Played my first on line match with two people from England. They must have thought I was wierd because they were chatting away and at time addressing me. I could not figure out how to chat. Can anyone explain how to chat. I don't see a window when playing.

Also, when on the green and moving the cursor left or right to line up the put, suddendly the screen jumps and I am facing the opposite direction. The only way to get the golfer back on line is to use the arrow key, but that takes forever. What is happening here? How do I avoid and correct?

BTW. I was so easy to get on line and hook up with a match.

I have not played online yet but had the direction change many times. When using the arrow key, hold down the shift key and it will go faster.

Thanks Jim.

A course architect is mentioned and that it can be optained at the TGW site. I could not locate it. Is it available for free and can courses be designed like APCD? Are there free courses for downloading.

There is a course architect, but its the same one that was used for TW 2006, it was not updated for TW 2007 but still works fine. And there are many many courses 1000-s I would think as they all work from version 2002 up to 2007.

Here is a link or two to download them.

Hi Grant

You are not alone many people also think 2004 was the best version ever made. But to be honest Tiger Woods has not really changed all that much since 2002, you get a few new features and it looks better as the years have gone by. Also the game play putting and such is much harder now I would say. But as with most games it has run its course and a brand new engine is very much needed in the next year or two I would think.

when the aim all of a sudden goes in the opposite direction, go to the menu on the left and there is a "reset aim" there. It's not in the first stuff that comes up, have to click the top one to get the next bunch of icons.
