Hey Pas, you remember that Joe Pepitone semi-flap we had? Its been a couple of years now and I stand by my judgement that he wasn't a superstar baseball player, certainly no Mantle. I've read something in the last couple of months that makes me think he's a helluva guy. His autobiography is highly recommended. Evidently he talks about his time as a ballplayer realistically and he not only sees the things he did that were wrong but admits them freely and speaks honestly of these things. Takes an adult to do that and I take my hat off to him and am looking forward to reading the book. Si you had it right; he has a superstar kind of character and thats really more important, innit? And hats off to you for pointing this out to me buddy.
