Playing pro ( and obviously champ and elite ) the snap is probably what dictates whether you are going to score well or not. You can still find fairways and greens without a perfect snap but scoring well will more depend on putting and even chipping well.
For me though if I am playing well it's almost always defined by how well I fare on the par 3's. The snap is important here of course and massively on the long ones, but somehow when not playing well it's these holes that find me out. Overswings and underswings seem to creep in just when you don't need them and seeing the putts wrong just happen. Just finished an event and managed to par 11 par threes and a lot of them in no wind conditions.
Just wondering if it's the same for others?
