How about this for PLSA 2026

If the course is over 7,200 yds, there will enough middle tees rounds to bring the course close to 7200 yds.
Below 7200 yds, 0 or 1 rounds from the middle tees

For clarification. If the total of the the rounds from the back tees is more than 7,200 x 4 = 28,800, then I'll bring it back to something at or under 28,800 total... if I can. Sometimes the middle tees bring the total WAY down from the back tees.

I'll try to get it all sorted out before the Sentry Tournament of Champions (1st of 2026).

Thoughts?

Middle tees maybe once an event at most. Can’t really see a problem with back tees for all 4 rounds though irrespective of the course length.

I'm sure Echoes is going to say the PLSA events are to easy now with a middle tee and no windy rounds. It would be nice if we could just move a hole or two to the middle or shorter tee just to have a drivable hole. Of course with a water risk involved. This is the last year I will be doing the FedEx Cup points for pro. Need a break. But in general, I don't think it is going to matter one way or another. The standings have looked mostly the same for the past few years. I guess you are just trying to make it a little easier by not having to many long irons or fairway woods into the greens. It will only make a difference in C/C I think. This week I hit many ball to the front and went off the back or just stayed on.
